Services / ERPNext Implementation

ERPNext implementation built for Africa

Full-cycle ERPNext deployment run on the same methodology behind everything we ship: Understand, Design, Engineer, Govern, Support. Every implementation includes Africa-specific localization: local chart of accounts, statutory payroll deductions, and tax compliance, configured in, not bolted on.

How we implement

Discovery & requirements

Understand

We audit your current systems, workflows, and pain points, then map each process to ERPNext's Accounts, Selling, Buying, Stock, Manufacturing, Projects, and Asset modules. Gaps that no standard module covers get flagged before a single field is configured.

Blueprint & data strategy

Design

Chart of accounts, tax templates, and statutory payroll rules for your country are designed first, on paper, the way a CPA would build them. We also plan the migration path from QuickBooks, Sage, SAP Business One, or spreadsheets: what data moves, what gets archived.

Configuration & customization

Engineer

We configure ERPNext and extend it the way the platform is meant to be extended: custom fields and business logic delivered through fixtures and doc_events, never by editing core. KRA eTIMS, M-Pesa, and bank integrations are wired in through whitelisted REST APIs at this stage, not bolted on after go-live.

Controls & UAT

Govern

Role-based permissions, approval workflows, and field-level access are configured before a single production transaction is posted. Your team runs user acceptance testing against real scenarios, backed by Frappe's built-in document versioning for an audit trail from day one.

Training & hypercare

Support

Role-based training for executives, finance, warehouse, and field teams, in English and Swahili, backed by documentation and hands-on workshops. Go-live comes with a month of daily check-ins, then quarterly reviews as your business grows.

Under the hood

The platform you're actually getting

ERPNext runs on the Frappe Framework: metadata-driven, open source, API-first. This is what ships under every implementation.

Deployment

Frappe Bench, Docker-ready. Runs on-prem, on your private cloud, or CoaleTech-hosted.

Database

MariaDB with per-site isolation; Redis for cache and background job queues.

Auth & RBAC

Frappe roles, role and user permissions, field-level permissions, 2FA-capable.

Audit

Built-in document versioning; immutable change history on every record.

APIs

REST plus whitelisted RPC on every DocType, token and OAuth authentication.

Backup & DR

Bench-level scheduled backups with client-configurable retention.
