Each site runs its own isolated MariaDB database under the Frappe default engine, and Redis handles cache and background job queues, the same platform baseline behind every app in our portfolio.
Scheduler events and RQ background jobs offload slow work from the request path. Kenya eTIMS Compliance's KRA retry queue is a shipped example: failed submissions requeue every 5 minutes behind a circuit breaker, not a fire-and-forget cron job.
